A restaurant delivery service in Seoul that was born out of a merger of the two competing companies called Ynot-Takeout and Bird Riders Food Delivery. At this moment, our customers can order from over 175 different restaurants. We are constantly growing the offered service and really excited to see what’s going to happen next. Webtopf has been a partner and of the company since they started, responsible for the website, search engine optimization, the IT infrastructure and hiring specialists.

What’s cool about this?

The site is completely custom built using a PHP framework. Every feature is designed and developed for a specific purpose and there are multiple interfaces that integrate external services for email, analytics and other communication channels with the backend.

Every bit of content on the website is multilingual and can be translated. We placed especially big value on truly localizing the experience for both languages and cultures. Localization involves much more than just translating text.

The website's layout is completely designed with mobile in mind. Because our visitors are now using more mobile devices than desktops or laptops. So don’t forget to access it from your phone or tablet!

A personal project that I built in 2014. The aim is to introduce and explain dishes of Korean cuisine to a wider audience.

The story behind it

When I first traveling in Korea, I came up with this idea. Korean food for me was a revelation. But it was not easy to discover. When people travel Korea, you will easily get in touch with the 5 most famous dishes. Korean BBQ, Kimbab, Bibimbab, Tteokbeokki and Bulgogi and maybe one or two more. But staying in the country longer, for month after month I found more dishes that I liked. Things that I would have never found out about without the help of locals. From February 2014 until the end of that year, I sacrificed most of my free time for this project. Developing the the database and writing and translating content.
